Congratulations to my little baseball MVP! Noah was named most valuable player for last nights baseball game. We are very proud of him! He may not be the best player on the team but he has improved a great deal from the start of the season. Way to go, Noah!

95 degrees and still going up...
Summer days...
In review of the last couple weeks, Chris and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on June 12! We took the day off from work and headed to the MOA for some shopping and lunch before going to the lake for Bullhead Days (or recently renamed by Isabella as Blowfish Days). We took the boat out and watched fireworks, which is always a lot of fun. We enjoyed the sun and hung out at the lake for the weekend.

Soccer Camp...
This is Noah's best bud, Michael. I quick took a picture as they were on their way to the last day of Soccer camp/Vacation Bible school. The afternoons have been pretty quiet this week!
Catching Up...
Like I said when I started this blog, I may not be very good about updating! Anyway, a lot has happened since my last post in May so here are a few highlights.
American Girl
Isabella and I took a trip to the Mall of America in search of some new things for Kit and Julie (Isabella's American Girl dolls). We went for bathing suits and ended up with a birthday picnic set and matching hats for Kit and Isabella. Honestly, I would buy her everything in the store if I could. Everything is so well made and so darn cute! Of course, we visited many of our favorite stores and bought both of us quite a few new things for the summer. Isabella is becoming quite the shopper!
Astros Baseball
Noah is playing baseball this summer with a team of players from Loyola. They play teams from all the schools in Mankato for 8 weeks. We were hesitant at first since Noah is only 7 and structured sports at this age seem silly to us, but he is really enjoying this and it keeps him involved with kids from school. We have been practicing a lot during nap time and in the evenings and he is really getting to be a good little ball player. I don't know what it is about boys, but Noah feels the need to slide everytime he runs the bases. Through this sliding fascination, I am figuring out how to keep white pants white!
Besides baseball, Noah has been taking golf lessons and soccer lessons. Yes, this seems like a lot but he really wanted to participate in all of them so we are giving it a try. We have vacation Bible school in a couple weeks but other than that we are just trying to enjoy the summer.
