Holidays are always filled with lots of family, fun, and laughter. We headed to LeRoy for the weekend after Good Friday mass. We spent Friday night at my parents and enjoyed Easter with my family on Saturday. Noah met a new little friend, Braeden. Grandma and Grandpa had an Easter egg hunt for the little ones. Noah and Isabella lov
ed looking for the eggs. The children spent most of the day at the park. It's fun to see all the family, especially the ones we rarely see except on holidays. My nephew Liam was home and it was fun to see how much he has grown. Early in the evening we headed to the farm to spend the rest of the weekend with the Roe family. BopPa bought three bunnies for the grandchildren. We talked Noah and Isabella into keeping the bunny at the farm. The grandchildren named them Flopsy Mopsy, Cottontail, and Sally. After playing with the bunnies for awhile it was getting late and church was at 8:30 t
he next morning. The children took baths and were off to bed. Noah and Isabella were so excited to see their cousins and didn't think it was fair that they had to go to bed! Noah, like always, was a good sport and the first one to sleep. He was also the first one up the next morning! Even with six kids and seven adults, we made it to church on time! Actually, we were the first ones arrive. After church we went back to the farm to fly kites and have another egg hunt. After lunch we were off to the fish pond. Noah had to drive his older cousins on the gator since they couldn't figure out how to turn it on! The fish weren't biting so it was a short trip. Sunday night we drove back to Mankato. Noah and Isabella had Monday off of school but Chris and I had to work. We had a really fun weekend. It was nice to catch up with family and see all the little ones!
Well, here it is! I finally have designed a blog to keep in touch with family and friends. As our children get older, we are finding it harder to keep in touch with everyone. I hope everyone will enjoy watching our children grow!
